About the Authors

Margaux Fideris
Margaux Fideris studies Creative Writing with an emphasis in Poetry and Education at Pacific University, Oregon. She uses writing and storytelling to heal from trauma and illuminate the beauties of daily life. In addition to her future career as a high school teacher, Fideris plans to write books that empower readers by telling positive stories about people from diverse backgrounds. Overall, she hopes to build bridges between communities in order to encourage empathy.

Alexander Ibarra
Alexander Ibarra is currently attending Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon as a senior majoring in Film and Video with a minor in Spanish. Born and raised in Klamath Falls, Oregon, Ibarra grew up in a Mexican household, raised by his two parents who immigrated from the small Mexican town of Huejuquilla el Alto, Jalisco. Having a passion for representation in media and cultural identity, Ibarra focuses on projects that deal with inclusivity of race and nationality.

Kelsi Roth
Kelsi Roth graduated from Pacific University in May. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing with minors in Comparative Religion and Literature. She is passionate about world travel, human experiences, and the written word. She strives for inclusivity and open conversations. She is currently looking for future projects (nudge, nudge).

Riley Stewart
Riley Stewart currently attends Pacific University in Forest Grove, as a Junior majoring in English Literature, with minors in Political Science and Philosophy. She is passionate about creating equitable narratives, and studying areas of perceived difference in literature. When she is not reading or writing essays, she enjoys volunteering with Camp to Belong Oregon, an organization that reunites siblings separated through foster care.
